Explosive Device Recognition & Search Procedures Course (EDR)
During this course you will learn the fundamentals of bombing incidents, safety concerns, and apply these factors to searching for hazardous devices in a facility based environment. You will apply these techniques in a team orientated environment to search for and locate suspicious objects which may be hazardous. This course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Control Point Screening Operations Course (W/X-Ray)
During the course you will learn the fundamentals and motivations of bombing incidents, safety concerns and how these factors relate to control point screening. You will also learn the skills to use X-Ray equipment to recognize, indentify, and isolate the components and compositions of bombs and weapons. This course will also teach you behavioral screening and customer service techniques to enhance the effectiveness of access control point screening and increase the deterrent value of the access control station. This course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Mail Bomb X-Ray Screening Operations Course
During this course you will learn the fundamentals of bombing incidents, safety concerns, and apply these factors to relate to mail screening and security. You will also learn the skills to utilize an X-Ray machine to recognize, identify, and isolate the components and compositions of mail bombs and other hazardous shipments in the mailroom environment. This course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Hazardous Mail Course
During this course you will learn the fundamentals and motivations of intentionally hazardous mailings (including bombs, chemical, and biological materials). You will examine the characteristics and exposure symptoms or hazardous agents along with proactive and reactive incident control methodologies and causality reduction techniques. You will apply these techniques in a team orientated environment to react to an explosive, chemical, or biological incident and reduce the effects on personnel and facilities. This course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Managing Bomb Threats and Incidents Course (Operations or Managers)
This training is provided to enable you to understand the concepts necessary to successfully plan for and manage bomb threats and incidents. You will examine techniques associated with receiving and managing telephone bomb threats, notification procedures, perimeter setup, mailroom and access control screening, the threat posed by chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction (WMD), evacuation principles, planning and command & control during incidents. Liability, insurance and personnel ramifications of bomb threats and incidents will be discussed in detail. The Operations Course is (16) hours in length. The Managers Course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company's or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Managing Bomb Threats and Incidents Course (Law Enforcement)
This course provides law enforcement participants with the capability to implement the concepts necessary to respond to bomb incidents. Explore techniques associated with receiving and managing bomb threats, including bomber psychology. Examine planning, response, evacuation principles, perimeter setup and the threat posed by chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction (WMD). In a practical, scenario driven environment practice learned skills, including explosive device recognition & searching. Participants must be assigned or sponsored to the training by their agency and must wear casual clothing or uniforms that they do not mind getting dirty or possibly damaged. Required equipment is limited to that which is carried during normal duty operations. At least one vehicle must be assigned during day two. This course is (16) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company's or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Chemical & Biological Weapons of Mass Destruction 1st Responder Course - Operations Level (limited to persons who have completed EDR)
This course certifies participants to First Responder - Operations Level in accordance with 29CFR1910.120 (OSHA, Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response). This course meets all of the WMD requirements for force protection training of responders in accordance with DOD Instruction 2000.12-H as well as service specific AT/FP regulations such as AR 525-13.

During this course you will learn the fundamental issues of weapons of mass destruction threat. You will examine the characteristics and exposure symptoms or hazardous agents along with proactive and reactive incident control methodologies and causality reduction techniques. You will apply these techniques in a team orientated environment to react to a chemical or biological incident and reduce the effects on personnel and facilities. This course is (8) hours in length. Note that courses can be tailored to your company's or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses.

Advanced Anti-Terrorism Course
Upon completing this course, you will have an understanding of the nature of terrorism and the threat it poses. You will be able demonstrate knowledge of tactics employed by terrorists, as well as planning and crisis management techniques that can prevent or mitigate terrorist attacks. You will also receive an overview of mechanisms and techniques that can be used in responding to terrorist attacks. Practical exercises throughout the entire training will provide participants with an opportunity to sharpen learned skills. This training course is limited to personnel who have completed ECI’s Managing Bomb Threats and Incidents curriculum. Note that courses can be tailored to your company's or agency's needs and can be combined with other courses. The length of this course is (24) hours.
